Technical Design

The CNIX is built using a high availability, scalable design. The Equipment is split between 2 separate cabinets and is located in the Carrier Meetme area of CIX.

The BGP routers will act as both BGP Routers and as Route Servers providing the ability of CNIX to become a member of Exchanges itself enhancing the services we offer, and providing all the normal features of a route collector.

To provide a public view of the Routing Information available at the IXP (similar to a route collector)
